A combination of the Latin word DOMUS, which stands for house,
and the English word LIFT, this name permits prompt recognition

buildings. |

vertical transportation within a single-family home, multiple
housing, villas, apartments with several floors, business
facilities, restaurants, public buildings, communities, hotels

|
 |
As in"Mobility"
These units overcome architectural barriers such as stairways,
allowing the disabled to lead a normal life and enabling the
elderly to live in their own homes. This makes mobility easier
both in private homes and in the places where people work
and play.

As in "Use"

 |
As in "Level" of architectural integration
DomusLift
can easily be installed in new or in existing buildings. Industrial
designers have been involved in designing the lift and its
structure. The result is a home lift that not only integrates
with any environment, but also enhances and decorates the
home.

|
 |
As in "Installation"
DomusLift
can be installed just in a few days. It takes up little space
and requires minimal maintenance.
|
| |
|
|
As
in "flexibility"
DomusLift
can be installed both inside and outside the building. The
car is available in 6 sizes (800x800, 800x1000, 800x1300,
1000x1300, 1000x1000 and 1000x800 mm), the doors come in 2
sizes (750 and 950 mm) and there are 4 types of entrances
(front, through, two adjacent and three).
It can be installed in a special masonry shaft or in one of
two types of structures (aluminium or steel). DomusLift offers
4 types of car finishes (skinplate, plastic laminate, glass,
veneered panels).
The controller and power unit is small (600x25x1000 mm) and
can be located up to six metres from the lift. DomusLift only
requires a pit of 100 mm or an access ramp: in this way there
is no need to alter existing flooring. An overhead of 2450
mm is enough.
|
| |
|
 |
As in "trimming" energy consumption
DomusLift
does not consume much. It can be connected to a dedicated
220 volt electrical outlet. It requires 1.1 kW power, which
is available in all single-family homes. With DomusLift maintenance
costs are lower than those of a traditional lift. Finally,
the documentation and permission required for installation
are simplified.
